Every crate sorted, pallet moved and delivery prepared helps us redistribute more food to the organisations supporting people across Wales.
How does it work?
Our Team Days take place Monday to Thursday at our Cardiff warehouse and are suitable for groups of 3–8 people. If you have a larger team, we’re happy to arrange multiple dates.
Your day will include:
- A welcome and health & safety briefing
- An introduction to FareShare Cymru and the impact of your support
- A guided warehouse tour
- Practical volunteering alongside our warehouse team, which may include sorting food, packing orders and supporting deliveries
- A mid-afternoon finish (around 3pm)
To complete the experience, you can enjoy a freshly prepared lunch cooked by our Culinary Lead using some of the surplus ingredients we save. Lunch is available for £5 per person and can be paid for by card on the day.
No previous experience is needed—just comfortable clothing, sturdy footwear and a willingness to get stuck in.

Choose an available date using the booking link below and our Volunteer & Employability Lead will be in touch to confirm your booking and provide everything you need ahead of your visit, including what to wear, where to find us and attendee information.
Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so we recommend booking early to secure your preferred date.
